Fantastic place to stay if you are looking for a destination away from the city.
Air is fresh, food is good, pple are super friendly!
I still remember we needed to access email for confirmation on our next destination and hotel, they offer to let us use their personal computer and even help us liase with the next hotel that we are going.
They cook the best food on earth SERIOUSLY! I miss the FISH.........
Room was spacious and the scenic will definately blow you away.
Downside of it is that the journey in is really long but is definately worth the trip down.
My advice, stay for more than 1 night, we regretted that we did not manage to extend our stay due to our tight schedule. :)

Taiwan B&B-----The comment from NYC~ One Word - 'Paradise'
On my first visit, it was the first time ever I have woken up to songs of birds as if I was in the Garden of Eden. It was simply amazing. The view is breathtaking. If you have never gone to Lala-San before, you're missing out! Just five minutes away from the lodge is a hot tourist spot. It's the oldest forest on the island with redwoods aged up to a couple thousand years old. It can probably compare with some of the oldest in the world. Don't forget to try the peach there (season starts around mid June), it's to die for. On top of all that nature has to offer there, the hosts are very friendly and are quick to befriend you. The meals are deliciously cooked with ingredients that are grown organically. I have been to my share of five star hotels and Fu-Yam is definitely up there with all of them. The beds and rooms are immaculately clean and new too! I have already been there five times in the past two years and every experience has been exhilarating in its own unique way. What I liked the least...? I can't make it my permanent residence.

Fu Yam Tourist home is very warm , cosy, surronded by the beauty of nature with a fine touch of fresh air .
I like the sound of water in the dark, warm light and food that touches the heart.
The scenic has different character between day and night and most important the owner is one with energy that will spice up your day.

Availed of their NTD 10,000 package tour, inclusive of 4 meals, overnight stay, roundtrip transfers to the airport, tours to Dasi and Mt. Lala plus entrance fees.
From the airport, it can become a very long ride, close to 2 hours over zigzag roads going up the mountain. But once you reach this place...you may fall in love with it immediately.
We decided on skipping a trip to Taipei to experience something different in Taiwan, and we surely got it from Fu-Yam. It is nestled and tucked beneath huge mountains..with a gentle and calming stream that you will hear every day and night. It is very quiet, very peaceful, where you can even hear birds chirping even in the middle of the night. The rooms are very lovely with windows that show beautiful images of mountains, beautiful trees, cherry blossoms and a variety of flora. There are also nice little ponds near the stream where you can just sit and watch the fish, or just close your eyes and listen to the calming waters and chirping wildlife.
The tour to the Dasi old streets was nice. Charming villages and old quaint structures and temples. Wasnt that much of a fan of Mt. Lala though. It was too tiring. I would rather stay in Fu-Yam all day and just relax in their balcony, reading a book or surfing the net (free WiFi) over a cup of coffee or tea.
The food was absolutely delicious. Home-made cooking prepared by the owners, Hakka style.
The owners, Brian and his father and mother were all too amazing. We couldnt thank them enough for their warmth and hospitality. Booking this place for your next holiday wouldnt be like your usual hotel and tour activity.
Think of it as a family inviting you over to their home..a home that is actually more of like a piece of paradise.
